Varietals
The varietal collection at Overgaauw reflects the footprints left by preceding generations. Initially there was quite a large selection of the popular varieties of the day that were planted on land available. After the completion of his soil mapping Braam planted the vines according to the sites best suited for the specific variety. With the new plantings came the opportunity to plant different clones that contribute to the complexity found in the Overgaauw wines.
